National Women's Health Network
The National Women's Health Network is the only national public interest membership organization dedicated exclusively to women's health. Advocates for a health care system that is appropriate for all women, as consumers and providers, and improve access to health care services for poor women, older women, women of color, lesbians, rural women, and disabled women.
 
Boston Women’s Health Book Collective
  Authors of many excellent books on women’s health, including the famous ‘OurBodies, OurSelves’. Has excellent information on women’s needs in a reformed health system.
 
Raising Women’s Voices
 

Raising Women's Voices is a national initiative to support quality, affordable health care
for all. They work to raise women's voices for the health care we need. Their goal is to
engage a broad array of women's health advocates in local, state and national health
reform discussions to ensure that women's concerns will be addressed and the health care
we get will truly be health care for all.

RWV is committed to raising women's voices in state and national debates over health
care reform, so that women's perspectives about their health care needs and those of their
families can be powerfully articulated, genuinely considered and incorporated into health
care reform plans.

 
OWL [Older Women’s League]
  The only national grassroots membership organization to focus solely on issues unique to women as they age. Major project is for women’s health advocacy. Primary support of the original Campaign for Women’s Health.
 
American Medical Women’s Association
  An organization of 10,000 women physicians and medical students dedicated to serving as the unique voice for women's health and the advancement of women in medicine. Has substantial information on health care reform.
   
RedStockings
  Red Stockings has developed a new sourcebook: Women's Liberation and National Health Care: Confronting the Myth of America

Women's Liberation and National Health Care: Confronting the Myth of America makes a feminist case for national health insurance, proposing a tactical shift for American feminism. Winning national health insurance, the book argues, is a first step in a larger strategy for advancing economic independence for women and equality between the sexes.

  A national advocacy information sharing organization, working to improve access to appropriate health care as well as advocating for universal health care.
   
Physicians for a National Health Program
  Physicians for a National Health Program is a single issue organization advocating a universal, comprehensive single-payer national health care program. Has chapters across the United States.
   
UHCAN - Universal Health Care Action Network
  A nationwide network of individuals and organizations, committed to achieving health care for all. Provides a national resource center, facilitates information sharing and the development of strategies for health care justice.
   
Everybody In, Nobody Out
  EINO educates the public, encouraging state movement towards an equitable health care system guaranteeing universal access to care, to be accomplished by support of grassroots organizing and empowerment of those communities most at-risk in the current health care system. A focus on the 'Right to Health Care' is recommended as the best strategy to empower these communities.
   
Center for Policy analysis
 

The Center for Policy Analysis is an independent organization dedicated to protecting
human health and expanding access to health care, water, and other vital human services. One of the best sites for current critical analysis of health care policy and health care reform proposals. Also sponsors a resource list for informattion and advocacy on health reform.

The list is sponsored by EQUAL Health (Equitable, Quality, Universal, Affordable Health), a project of the Center for Policy Analysis.
